Clean property, check-in was a breeze, and great central location for all the activities we had planned for Maui. Perfect for a couple! Plenty of supplies for anything on your itinerary, including beach chairs, towels, and beach bags (though we didn't end up using all of them). Having a kitchen was very convenient as well.

Staying here was awesome! Walking distance from the beach, pub, and da kitchen (MUST TRY) as well as short (30mins-1hour) drives to other popular snorkeling beaches and small towns. We rented a car so leaving wasn’t a big deal when we had to, and parking is included which is really nice. The beach chairs and boogie boards were perfect for the four of us and we kept them in our car for the entirety of the trip to use whenever we stopped at a beach. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is stocked up with all sorts of utensils and gadgets (even spices!) Great experience. We really just needed a place to sleep but we got a home away from home instead. Loved it!

Wonderful place and location! My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We cooked in a few nights and were happy to make use of the cookware available; there were also great places to eat within walking distance, so when we went out, it was also nice to be able to stay on foot. We of course went to the beach that's just a 5-10 minute walk away every day of our stay; there's great snorkeling there if you get out early when the water is still pretty calm, and the waves are big enough for light boogie boarding by mid-morning on the days we were there. It was also very convenient to have parking in the building's lot. All around great place -- highly recommended!

This was a lovely condo - the owners have taken care to appoint it well, and it was immaculately clean. We enjoyed being able to run A/C in the bedroom at night (a rare find at Maui Vista!) -- we slept very comfortably with the white noise and cool temperatures. The condo had everything we needed to cook, entertain ourselves (SmartTV was used a few evenings!), and enjoy the beach. There were several nice touches of hospitality from our host - we were there over Christmas, and she left us a nice note with a Christmas music CD. I would highly recommend this condo.
In case anyone misses it like we did -- I thought there weren't any spatulas. Took me like a day and a half to realize they were in a utensil holder (vase?) on the kitchen countertop, literally right in front of me the entire time. Haha.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maui Vista. We had told Julie that we were coming to Hawaii for our honeymoon and she thoughtfully left us some flowers, a fresh pineapple and a Hawaiian wedding prayer on the kitchen bench for our arrival which we thought was lovely. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The fans and aircon kept the place cool. We were in walking distance to a range of shops, restaurants, cafes and parks. We loved our stay and would recommend this apartment.

Gavin and Julie are fantastic hosts. It was so comfortable to stay in their condo: sparkling clean, full of all amenities needed for a Hawaii vacation, quiet and private. It’s perfect for a solo traveler (which was my case) or a couple. No issues happened during the stay, but the reservation communication was so proactive and thorough that I felt so secure and confident - that even if a small question arises - they are literally a quick phone call/text away to assist. Definitely gave me a piece of mind. Gavin! It was such a pleasure to meet you in person! Thank you for welcome gift! I’d love to be back! Mahalo guys!

Our stay was just PERFECT. Really. The place was just everything we wished for, equipped with everything you need and all very generous-extra of everything!! Feels so good. This was our second stay at Maui Vista. This was not the same unit we stayed in last time, but it was great. The A/C in the bedroom was fantastic. The condo was just as shown in the listing. Location is great as it is right across the street from the Charlie Young Beach.

This condo has a great location, right across the beach and a short walk away from restaurants and other amenities. The condo by itself is self contained with a well equipped kitchen. There's a little pool to hang out as well. The lanai is perfect to enjoy a meal or a drink in the evening.

Great location, quiet, beautiful blooming flowers, clean, beach equipment provided, along with cooking amenities as well. The apartment was clean and situated to take advantage of the trade winds to help cool the apartment. The beach equipement provided was a great extra touch. Location was quiet and great escape from the hustle and bustle of tourists, yet still close enough to take advantage of the tourism on foot. Great place for my work stay!

This place is fantastic. It was actually even nicer than what the pictures showed. Check in was very easy and communication was exceptional. There were a lot of very thoughtful touches (dishwasher, washer/dryer, beach towels, beach chairs, pool noodle, sunburn relief cream, complimentary pineapple... basically anything that one could ask for and then some). If you are considering visiting Maui I could not recommend Maui Roost enough. Apart from the excellent hosts, the location is one of the best (and most affordable) in all of Maui. There is much less traffic than Lahaina, and you are within a few minutes drive to some of the best beaches and food in Maui. Will definitely stay here if we are lucky enough to visit again.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Easy check-in process. Right next to the beach, restaurants, and grocery store. Loved that beach equipment - chairs, umbrella, and cooler bag- were provided. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

This condo was perfect walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. This was a great central location. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We had the best time! Make sure to do the road to Hana! And check out the olivine pools and Nakalele Blowhole. Mahalo

My wife and I spent Christmas holidays here and we plan to come back in the future. The beach equipmney, clean balcony, and even the cooking equipment all made our stay very enjoyable. Clean Unit. This is the second year in a row that we stay here. Very clean unit, with a few improvements from last year. Very close to everything you would like to do, ie. beach, surfing, snorkeling, etc.

Clean, stylish, perfect get away for me and me newly wed husband and I. Perfect locations, the pool outside was warm and wonderful to swim in. We were also given a complimentary late check out since our flight left late that afternoon. Small hospitality touches here and there that go a long way. Loved it and would highly recommend!”
